Our Story

The Drop MTB is a mountain bike apparel brand founded and operated in North Carolina, USA.   We specialize in high quality, affordable mountain bike apparel. We are All Mountain/Trail riders dedicated to developing technical and comfortable apparel.  We started The Drop MTB out of a passion and love for mountain biking.  Our business allows us to get closer to the sport, community and lifestyle.  It provides a means for us to give back and promote the sport we love.

Our name The Drop MTB signifies that incredible feeling of committing to a challenging trial, drop or jump.  That feeling of dropping into a line with full confidence.  Whether you've been riding a week or riding for years we've all experienced it and we're better off because of it. We try to embody that stoked feeling in everything we do - our riding, our products, our operations, our community efforts, environmental efforts and everything else. 

We take riding and designing gear seriously.  Western NC has some of the best most unique mountain bike trails in the country.  We are fortunate to live, ride, test and design our gear here.  

Our style concentrates on subtle and understated designs. Perfect for dropping into your favorite trail or dropping by your favorite after ride establishment.  Performance, quality, comfort and affordability are our top priorities.
